아래 소개하는 바와 같이 오사카대학에서 대외경제정책연구원에 있는 안성배 박사님을 초청해 베이지안 계량경제학과 DSGE (dynamic stochastic general equilibirum, 동태적일반균형) 모형에 대한 응용과 관련된 강의를 한다고 합니다.
일반균형에 근거한 거시모형을 베이지안 방법으로 추정하는 연구에 관심이 있는 학생들에게는 체계적으로 공부할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것 같습니다.
오사카대학 담당 교수님께는 부탁을 했으니 특별한 절차없이 자유롭게 참석해서 강의를 들어도 됩니다.

This is a gentle reminder that the following special lecture will take place tomorrow at 10 am.
Dr. Sungbae An from KIEP will give five lectures, “Bayesian Approach and Its Application to Macro Models,” every Thursday from 10 am starting this week. Dr. An is an expert in Bayesian Econometrics, especially in DSGE models, and is an author of the widely cited article “Bayesian analysis of DSGE models” (joint with F. Schorfheide).
This week’s lecture will be held tomorrow, August 26, 10:00-12:00 (JST).
The course syllabus is attached. The lecture slides will be distributed in class tomorrow.
