The 1st KAIST AI Social Science 

Research Boot Camp [ONLINE]

The KAIST AI & Big Data Social Science Research Group (AI-SSRG) hosts the AI Social Science Research Boot Camp ONLINE from Nov. 5th to Dec. 3rd, 2021.

This intensive boot camp introduces the leading research topics in the areas of Social Science Research on AI and Big Data. We invite graduate students and professors in MIS, Marketing, Finance, Innovation, and Economics, who are either considering or already doing research in these areas.

For whom: The boot camp is meant to promote research interest in the areas of Social Science Research on AI and Big Data. It is particularly well suited for M.S. and Ph.D. students in economics and management, who are either considering or already doing research in these areas. While the boot camp is primarily intended for graduate students, it is also suitable for post-docs and professors with interests in these areas of research.

Program: The program will be taught by leading professors in MIS, Marketing, Accounting & Finance, Innovation & Strategy, and Economics fields. Each session’s lecture and discussion will be led by those professors.

Application: Each applicant should send an email expressing her/his interest in participation containing the sessions to join and a Curriculum Vitae (only for graduate students) of the applicant.

The application deadline is Sunday, Oct. 31st

Acceptance decisions will be made by Nov. 1st. Accepted participants will be expected to join prepared by reading a syllabus of papers prior to the beginning of the AISSR-BC.
