General Description and Speakers
The I.S.E.O Summer School is one of the few summer courses in the world featuring several Nobel Laureates. It’s organized by the I.S.E.O Institute, a non profit institute chaired by Prof. Robert Solow. The 15th edition of the I.S.E.O Summer School will take place in Iseo (Brescia, Italy) from 21-30 June 2018, and will be focused on the macro theme “Challenges and Opportunities in a Shifting Global Economy”. Nobel Laureates and economists will get deep into the most topical discussion on global economy: crucial factors as worldwide growth strategies, welfare state patterns, inequalities, emerging economies, labor markets and financial risks are just some of the themes which will emerge. Lectures of the I.S.E.O Summer School are made of a fair combination between frontal speech and debates with the participants.
Since 2004, the various editions of the I.S.E.O Summer School have been featuring featured 17 Nobel Laureates in Economics as lecturers and have been attended by 917 students coming from 100 Countries and 335 different universities in the world.
